Ice-cream at midnight? No problem. Purple hair? You go for it, kid. Fire juggling? Fill your boots, just watch your eyebrows.

This documentary follows three families in the midst of ‘extreme unschooling’ or ‘off-grid parenting’.

Will it make their children happier, more independent and resilient, ready to tackle whatever the future has in store?

Or will they be struggling to read and write in their teens, woefully unprepared for the real world?
