As Holby surgeon Ange Godard tries to get her life back on track following the emotional trauma of the Holly Cartwright case, this week, a shock revelation sends her world crashing down.

It's medic Dominic Copeland's (David Ames) birthday and Sacha Levy is in the hospital foyer with Dom's mum Carole (Julia Deakin) discussing plans for a surprise party they're going to throw for him later that day. When Ange spots Carole, she's convinced she knows her – but can’t recall where from.

Later, when Ange spots Carole making preparations for Dom's party in the staff room, she bursts in and makes it clear she knows her from her past and makes a shock revelation. However, when Carole then drops a bombshell of her own, Ange is shaken to the core…

Meanwhile, Frieda also gets a reminder of home when Ivan, a friend of her late ex-Roman, turns up at Holby in desperate need of her help. Not wanting to attract the attention of the authorities, Frieda risks her career to set up a makeshift hospital in the basement of Holby. Has she put her job on the line?

Also, when the object of his affections, Chloe, gives him the brush-off, Cameron contacts past conquests to try and get a date for a gig that night. Can Holby's resident charmer Zav teach Cam how to win over the ladies?
