Having been forced to admit that she and Joel were planning a tiny secret ceremony without much fuss, her family have already thrown Cleo McQueen, (Nadine Rose Mulkerrin), a raucous hen party to remember. The McQueens don't do anything by halves!
Now it's time for her and Joel Dexter, (Rory Douglas-Speed), to tie the knot but Cleo McQueen, who has been battling bulimia for the past 18 months, can't help feeling overwhelmed by the Big Day.
As part of World Mental Health Day this special episode focuses on bride Cleo's inner turmoil as she struggles with her demons.
Having already got dressed up in a beautiful and tasteful white gown and clutching her bridal bouquet, will she be able to go through with the ceremony, or will the doubts and insecurities that have plagued her and the eating disorder that has taken over her life, get the upper-hand and derail the event?
During the episode, viewers will see Cleo’s wedding day from several different perspectives as she speaks to her psychiatrist Farrah Maalik, (Krupa Pattani), and Cleo’s skewed view of the events compared to what actually happens, will be revealed.
Recalling every second of her Big Day to Farrah; from waking up in the morning to walking down the aisle in the church, Cleo gives the impression of being incredibly excited about becoming Mrs Dexter, but is the reality actually very different?
