Hollyoaks spoilers: A conflicted Mandy Richardson visits her ex, Luke, in prison

Mandy Richardson (Sarah Jayne Dunn)

Pregnant Mandy Richardson makes a prison visit and turns to her ex, Luke Morgan, for advice over her unborn baby

Since receiving the news that her unborn baby has spina bifida, Mandy Richardson (Sarah Jayne Dunn) has been in pieces.

The distressed mum- to- be has been trying to stay positive but now faces a new dilemma.

Medics have told Mandy that she is eligible to undergo an operation that would minimise the symptoms of spina bifida in her baby. While Mandy is prepared to do whatever it takes, her other half Darren Osborne, (Ashley Taylor-Dawson) and father of  the tot, tries to dissuade her from going ahead, believing the op to be too risky.

Torn, and with her head spinning, Mandy’s thoughts turn to her ex, Luke Morgan, (Gary Lucy), currently in prison and later on she decides she’ll go and see him to get his advice.
