Hollyoaks spoilers: A conflicted Mandy Richardson visits her ex, Luke, in prison
Pregnant Mandy Richardson makes a prison visit and turns to her ex, Luke Morgan, for advice over her unborn baby
Since receiving the news that her unborn baby has spina bifida, Mandy Richardson (Sarah Jayne Dunn) has been in pieces.
The distressed mum- to- be has been trying to stay positive but now faces a new dilemma.
Medics have told Mandy that she is eligible to undergo an operation that would minimise the symptoms of spina bifida in her baby. While Mandy is prepared to do whatever it takes, her other half Darren Osborne, (Ashley Taylor-Dawson) and father of the tot, tries to dissuade her from going ahead, believing the op to be too risky.
Torn, and with her head spinning, Mandy’s thoughts turn to her ex, Luke Morgan, (Gary Lucy), currently in prison and later on she decides she’ll go and see him to get his advice.
Will Luke be helpful and give Mandy the support she's desperately seeking?
Elsewhere, Mac Nightingale (David Easter) continues to plot against his son James (Gregory Finnegan) and finds an ally in Sami Maalik (Rishi Nair).
When Mac asks Sami to be his solicitor, Sami immediately agrees. Later on cruel Mac has some harsh words for Donna-Marie Quinn (Lucy-Jo Hudson), who recently revealed she was in love with him. He tells the cash-strapped mum of two, she'll have to go back to prostitution if she wants any more money.
Plus Juliet, Brooke and Ollie are set the task of writing poems about each other for school. Ollie (Aedan Duckworth) can’t help feeling irritated by Juliet and eventually snaps, telling her to leave.
Darren Osborne feels sorry for Juliet (Niamh Blackshaw) and cheers her up by offering to help them all with the poems. When Brooke notices Juliet secretly hide Darren’s poem about Ollie in her pocket, she becomes convinced that Juliet fancies Ollie. Is she barking up the wrong tree?
Hollyoaks is shown weekdays on C4 at 6.30pm with the next episode following on E4
