No one who saw her in 1964 Bond film Goldfinger could forget her sexy antics as flying ace Pussy Galore, but now, nearly 50 years later, Honor Blackman is caught up in more screen mayhem as a glamorous pensioner. In this week’s Casualty, she’s playing Agatha Kirkpatrick who’s on her way to a dinner date when she’s involved in an accident.

Paramedics Dixie and Jeff come to her aid after she’s mown down by a cyclist and injures her hip. At first, Dixie’s astounded by Agatha’s sharp tongue, but the two women soon bond when Agatha opens up about her early career as an ambulance driver in war-torn Africa during the 1960s.

Dixie’s impressed by Agatha’s brave past, but she’s unaware that she’s also made a great impression on her elderly patient. Agatha asks Dixie to look after her money belt containing over £2000 that she’s taking on her date! Dixie agrees but is worried when she finds an email with the money from a man called Fred and suspects Agatha is about to become the victim of an Internet scam…

Elsewhere, Ash isn’t best pleased with the new trainee doctor, Lily (Crystal Yu), he’s been given to mentor, as the spiky student manages to annoy practically everyone in the ED on her first day!

Before the shift is over Ash is forced to give Lily a warning about her bedside manner, and it’s clear she’s going to make waves…
