Is Linda's sister Holby City's thief?

Sisters Linda and Denise's fragile relationship reaches breaking point this week when it becomes apparent a thief is at large in the emergency department. After a number of items go missing, nurse Linda (Christine Tremarco) can't help but suspect her sister and hospital cleaner Denise of being involved, given her recent history of drug addiction... Denise is furious when Linda brings up the issue of patients' belongings being pilfered and reacts angrily at her sister's obvious distrust. Yet, later, Linda's suspicions are raised further when she catches her sister making a secretive phone call and hanging up as soon as she sees her. Fearing the worst Linda confronts Denise, who announces she's got a new job as a live-in housekeeper and is planning on leaving Holby at the end of the week! Linda is gobsmacked as Denise drops a further bombshell and reveals she will be upping sticks with her two kids, Britney and Joe, who Linda has been looking after, to start afresh. Linda questions whether her sister is ready for such a big move, but really the former party girl is broken-hearted at the thought of losing her surrogate family. With a crook still at large and the silent finger of suspicion pointed at Denise, Linda can't help but worry whether her sister really is drug-free and ready to be a full-time mum. Meanwhile, Big Mac, who is recovering in the hospital following his heart attack, turns detective and becomes determined to catch Holby's light-fingered thief! He tracks the stolen property down and discovers that the culprit is actually new porter Pat. The cocky new porter tells Mac he can't prove a thing, however Denise had been secretly hiding and heard the whole exchange. Pat is well and truly caught!
