Heston is preparing for the speech he's giving at the GP symposium tomorrow. The organisers phone to say that another of the speakers has fallen through. Would one of Heston's colleagues be willing to step in? Heston's sure he'll be able to twist someone's arm.
Heston discusses the subject with Howard who suggests Daniel, but Heston had actually been thinking of Jimmi. But when Jimmi practises his speech on Heston and Karen, it's awful and Heston doesn't know how to tell him. Jimmi overhears Heston telling Howard and is crushed.
Meanwhile, Mrs Tembe helps to organise Reverend Stanhope's leaving party, and she and Al have an argument about religion.

He has produced TV news and entertainment features on personalities as diverse as Nick Cave, Tom Hardy, Clive James, Jodie Marsh and Kevin Bacon and he co-produced and directed The Ponds, which has screened in UK cinemas, BBC Four and is currently available on Netflix.
An entertainment writer with a diverse taste in TV and film, he lists Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Chase, The Thick of It and Detectorists among his favourite shows, but steers well clear of most sci-fi.
