When Lee Carter gets himself out of evening plans with Lauren, Whitney starts to worry in EastEnders...

Whitney is at a loss over Lee’s strange mood, but she starts to get suspicious of what he’s up to. When Whitney learns he’s told a confused Lauren that he can’t make the drinks she arranged, Whitney really starts to worry. It’s left up to Lauren to try to calm her down and encourage her to speak to Lee.

Lauren is stunned when Whitney later turns up in a state, revealing that Lee called into work sick. She’s convinced he’s having an affair. Her suspicions are further reinforced when Lee returns home and claims he’s been at work all day...

Kyle is torn over whether to accept the job abroad, not wanting to leave Stacey and Martin with money troubles. After talking to Martin, Kyle decides to take the job, but later backtracks. Will he stay in Walford after all?

Also, Billy has a difficult day in the office and has a heart-to-heart with Phil.
