Later, Louise reminds Viv that she could withdraw her false alibi any time and Viv can't believe she's being blackmailed. Gennie miserably tells Paddy that she'll never be accepted as a Dingle and Paddy is sympathetic, having married into the family twice himself. Gennie introduces herself as Pollard's assistant and takes her into the Dingles' barn where she secures a business deal for the Dingles in Pollard's name. Laurel settles into being a mum to Arthur, but Gabby is still troubled by recent events.
