Pregnant schoolteacher Elly is the target of a mystery attack at Erinsborough High School! Will her unborn baby be OK?

Elly Conway has to talk her way out of trouble when her neighbour Dipi Rebecchi catches the pregnant school teacher with a bottle of booze in her bag at Erinsborough High School.

Of course, Elly has really smuggled the booze into school for scheming student Dean Mahoney, who is blackmailing her over baby lies. But, unable to tell Dipi the truth, Elly lies she's been stressed out over her pregnancy and she's been tempted to drink.

With her tracks covered again, later that day Elly is working back late at school when the lights suddenly go out.

She immediately suspects it is Dean playing a prank on her, as punishment for not leaving the booze in his locker as agreed. But things take a sinister turn when a shadowy figure knocks Elly to the ground, leaving her clutching her stomach in pain...

Elsewhere in Erinsborough, it's a big day for Toadie Rebecchi as he prepares to hold a charity kick-starter event for the Sonya Rebecchi Foundation, set up in memory of his late wife Sonya, who died from cancer a couple of months ago.

And it looks like Toadie is ready to put his differences with neighbour Karl Kennedy aside, when he agrees to relocate his charity event outside the Melbourne tram, which Karl received as a gift from his sister Jemima.

However, the day takes a sour turn when Toadie and Karl catch Finn Kelly trying to sneak into the Foundation office.
