Neighbours spoilers: Will baby Hugo spell trouble for Toadie and Sonya?

Toadie Rebecchi, Sonya Rebecchi, Neighbours

Sonya is unsure of her role in baby Hugo's life, since he is the child of her hubby Toadie and con-woman Andrea. Can family friend Susan help?

Toadie feels guilty about accidentally leaving his wife Sonya's name off an approved pick-up list for baby Hugo at childcare. But unfortunately his mistake doesn't do a whole lot to assure Sonya she can fully accept the surprise baby Toadie had as a result of a one-night stand with con-woman Andrea.

While neighbour Susan offers Sonya some advice, Toadie comes up with an idea to help Sonya see they are all one big family. But with Sonya already feeling pushed out of the picture, will Toadie's plan work?

Meanwhile, after things threatened to get steamy between the pair in the sauna, Terese decides to turn her back on Leo and flee to LA to visit her daughter Imogen and hubby Daniel. Terese thinks Leo is being silly and it is time he got over his silly crush. But does she secretly feel the same way he does?

Elsewhere, Chloe is annoyed when her money-making games room at Lassiter's gets shut down when bosslady Terese discovers there is gambling involved. But who told on Chloe?

Plus, Cassius has another flashback and remembers the time he saved Paige and Jack's baby son Gabe after he was kidnapped by nurse Louise! What other secrets from the past is Cassius hiding?

Neighbours continues weekdays at 1:45pm and 5:30pm on Channel 5

Writer

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
