Niamh is shocked by Al's dismissive attitude

Niamh and Al are all loved up until Al reveals his attitude towards Cat's suicide - just get on with it. Niamh is angered and hits below the belt, mentioning Al's over-involvement with Fliss. Later, Niamh reaches out to Al and they make up.

Eugene, a man with angina on the Churchill estate, is worried about his unemployed son, Lewis. Lewis tells Ayesha he wants to be a policeman but he's conflicted about telling his dad because he knows he hates the police. Lewis finally talks to his dad who tells Lewis he'll back him in whatever he wants to do.

Mandy hands in her resignation and explains that she no longer blames Heston for Cat's death, but she wants to move on. She plans her leaving do and puts in a phone call to Ayesha to ask if she'd consider applying for her job.
