Abi offers to mind Lucas while Sarah has to nip to uni. Sarah returns to find an empty house and panics and heads to the KidzwithKidz charity event to confront Daniel. Abi strolls up with Lucas and reveals that she just took the baby out for a walk. Abi and Sarah argue and Ste takes Lucas and heads home then refuses to open the door to Sarah and Mike when they come round demanding the baby. Zoe guiltily hands her film in and the gang take her off to the SU to celebrate where she drowns her sorrows with drink. Zak realises Zoe's in a bad way and cancels a date with Michaela to talk to his friend. Zoe misconstrues his concern and tries to kiss him. A shocked Zak backs off and insists he's happy with Michaela. Russ is infuriated when he sees Jacqui in the village and she refuses to speak to him or let him see Max. Sarah stops Russ from confronting her, insisting that it will only make things worse. Russ is resentful when he sees Nancy with Charlie and he tells Nancy that he made a big mistake staying in Hollyoaks for her rather than taking his son.
