Doctor Ethan Hardy’s world comes crashing down when a call from the police reveals Scott Ellisson is off the hook for Cal’s murder! Scott callously stabbed Cal weeks beforehand. Now Ethan, Scott’s intended victim, wants to see justice done, one way or another…

Ethan barely has time to digest the shocking news when Scott, his younger brother Mickey, and mother Denise all wind up in the ED needing treatment after a racist rally ends in violence! Coming face-to-face with Scott is almost too much for Ethan, who confronts his brother’s killer and demands he confesses!

When Scott flatly denies any involvement in Cal’s killing, Ethan spots an opportunity to force cruel Scott into telling him the truth. When Mickey’s condition takes a deadly turn, Ethan reveals he has information that will save Mickey’s life… but he’ll only help Mickey if Scott comes clean about Cal!

But when it comes to the moment of truth Ethan can’t let Mickey die. Will he find another way to get justice for Cal’s murder?

Also this week, when Mickey almost dies, Jez realises how much he cares for Mickey and agrees to keep their relationship secret from Mickey’s bigoted family.

Charlie’s mind isn’t on the job, as he incessantly worries about Ethan. Will Duffy be able to help her new husband?

And there’s some flirting between Lily and Iain. But when Lily needs emotional support, will Iain be there for her?
