Despite being fitted with an electronic tag and subject to a curfew, delinquent pensioner Henry Palmer (Simon Callow) continues to wreak havoc in his native Brighton in the second episode of this three-part comedy from GOLD. Although we see a gentler side to the angry OAP tonight, as he reminisces about his late wife, he continues to wind up his daughter Cath (Anna Crilly) by ridiculing her latest business venture – ‘mood modulation’ for pets. Meanwhile, Charlie (Bill Paterson) has gone missing, but it’s not long before Henry finds his pal volunteering for a charity called Virtuous. And when he discovers this so-called charity isn’t playing by the book, Henry leads a protest on the city streets.
