Tom is pronounced dead by paramedics, while Jimmy holds Bob in the Home Farm kitchen after discovering him in the house. Jimmy is convinced that Bob murdered Tom after seeing him climbing down a drainpipe after the murder. Bob pleads his innocence to the police, while Jamie turns up late to the Woolpack Christmas dinner looking dishevelled. Jamie lies to Viv that he’s been at Dawn’s grave and is alarmed to discover that Bob hasn’t turned up. Louise and Hari are puzzled by Terry’s strange absence when he claims he’s been out for a long walk. They’re worried that he may have done something stupid when he claims he’s delighted to discover that Tom is dead.
