In the middle of Holly and Jason's romantic meal they smell smoke and are alarmed to see the deli is on fire. As the blaze continues to engulf the deli, a frightened Holly and Jason frantically try to escape but neither knows what to do. Ste and Tony are alerted to their screams and call the fire brigade. Leela arrives with her colleagues and rescues the teens.
Peri invites Tom over to the McQueen's house to help her babysit Matthew. They're alarmed when the tot falls off the sofa.
John Paul has had the day from hell and when he returns home he takes out his anger at the teens. Sam is horrified to hear about what John Paul did to Peri last night but wishes he'd open up more.
