Nick and Leanne getting hitched back in 2012 - could they be reunited again?

There’s no doubt that Leanne Battersby and Nick Tilsley are meant to be. They were each other’s first loves and, despite everything, they’re always pulled back together in Coronation Street.

So it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that, following Nick’s return to the cobbles, Leanne ignores stepsister Toyah’s advice, and considers giving their relationship another try.

"Nick and Leanne are soul mates," says Jane Danson, who plays Leanne. "They’ve been together since they were 16, on and off."

Nick Tilsley in Coronation Street

Nick and Leanne have a long history - but Nick is hiding a big secret!

But as Leanne considers a future with the man she’s already married twice, little does she realise that Nick isn’t being straight with her. He has a big secret, connected to his time in Nottingham.

“Nick has another life," teases actor Ben Price, who plays Nick. “You’ll find that all is not quite as it seems...”

Oblivious, Leanne accepts Nick’s offer to pay for her and Toyah to live in Johnny and Jenny’s old flat, but her neighbours aren’t so trusting.

Shona is suspicious when she overhears Nick lying to a mystery caller that he has to stay in Weatherfield because Gail is ill. Meanwhile, Carla smells a rat when Nick is vague about his business in the Midlands. What is he hiding?
