Ned Willis finds himself in serious danger as Scarlett Brady's obsession with him takes another sinister turn...

Today's Neighbours sees Ned Willis become a victim of Scarlett Brady's twisted game paying when he is run over by a speeding motorbike.

The drama comes after Scarlett blackmails Paul Robinson in today's trip to Ramsay Street (5.30pm, see our TV guide for full listings) and she uses the fact there have been hidden cameras found in the hotel against him.

Paul is terrified that Scarlett is going to reveal the truth about the cameras to the world and ruin Lassiters' reputation, so he offers her a huge sum on money to leave Erinsborough and make a new life somewhere else.

But he is shocked when Scarlett reveals she doesn't want his cash, she will keep quiet in return for keeping her job and being given the same shifts that Ned is working.

Paul is surprised that buying Scarlett's silence is that easy... but there is still something about her that doesn't add up and he's determined to find out what.

However, while Paul is doing more digging, Scarlett invites Ned for a drink to say thank you for putting in a good work for her with the boss.

Ned is happy they're just friends, but when Scarlett hints that she would like them to be more than that, he is forced to let her down gently and tells Scarlett that his drama with Yashvi is still a little fresh.

Realising that she needs to up her game if she is going to get Ned to fall in love with her, Scarlett later fabricates a story about how she left her phone at the tram while they were having their drink.

As it is late at night, kind-hearted Ned is the first to offer to go with her to the tram to search for her phone... and it takes a while to find because Scarlett secretly has it in her bag the whole time.

But just as she pretends to find her phone on the floor, a speeding motorbike comes from nowhere and heads straight for the pair.

As Ned shoves Scarlet out of the way and saves her life, he freezes in the bike headlights and ends up being hit by the speeding vehicle.

As Ned is thrown to the floor in a heap, things don't look good.

Is this another one of Scarlett's sinister games that has somehow got completely out of hand?

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5
