There's romance in Ramsay Street as Ned Willis and Yashvi Rebecchi get together in today's Neighbours...

Today's Neighbours sees Ned Willis and Yashvi Rebecchi finally make their romance official... but not everyone is happy for the new couple.

While Ned might have only just come out of a long-term relationship with Bea Nilsson, that hasn't stopped Yashvi lusting after him.

But while the pair shared a kiss a few weeks ago that was definitely more one sided than it should have been, it seems Ned is warming to the idea of moving from being friends with Yashvi into something more.

The end of last week saw the pair share a kiss, and this time Ned was the one to make the first move.

But while the Lassiters employee is determined to make sure they take things slowly this time, Yashvi definitely hasn't got that memo and today things start to spiral out of control.

When Terese Willis catches the pair kissing, she warns Ned that Yashvi is a lot younger than him and would be easily hurt. But Terese isn't the only one to give Ned a lecture.

Yashvi confides in her mum Dipi that things between her and Ned have stepped up a gear, and Dipi is shocked when her daughter confesses she is going to book a doctors appointment to talk about contraception.

Convinced things are moving way too fast, Dipi gives Ned a few words of warning... only for their conversation to be overheard by his ex, Bea. Talk about awkward!

Ned does the right thing and checks with Bea that she is okay with him dating her friend, but little does he know Yashvi has already beaten him to it and asked for Bea's approval.

Wanting both her ex and her best friend to be happy, Bea tells them she hopes their romance is a success... but it is clear that she is sad about the fact they have found happiness with one another and not other people.

Ned realises that Yashvi is racing ahead with their romance and decides he needs to lay down some ground rules.

Taking her to one side he tells her he wants to take things slow and suggests they go on a date at the end of the week.

But will Yashvi listen to Ned's request, or is she already planning the seating plan for the wedding?

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5
