There's drama in Neighbours when the prestigious Melbourne Cup comes to Erinsborough...

There has been so much talk about the Melbourne Cup coming to Erinsbrorough over the last few weeks in Neighbours that it's as if Lassiters was welcoming a world-famous celebrity. But Australia's most infamous horse racing trophy is finally here... and of course, there's drama involved.

Terese Willis and Pierce Greyson are beyond excited when the prestigious trophy arrives at Lassiters, and the cup itself is worth so much money that it comes with its own gang of bodyguards.

But somehow that doesn't stop the cup going missing... just when Lassiters are about to make their press conference to the whole country in a bid to earn the hotel some publicity.

Hendrix Greyson is excited about seeing the cup and is thrilled when dad Pierce says he can have a sneak peak before the crowds get close.

However when Chloe Brennan arrives home from visiting her mum in Adelaide, Pierce is so happy to see her that he forgets all about his promise to Hendrix and stand him up.

But of course wayward teen Hendrix doesn't take kindly to being dropped for his dad's girlfriend and so when the Melbourne Cup later goes missing the prank has got his name written all over it.

Eventually the cup is found in the back of Roxy and Harlow's car... and they are both baffled about how something so precious could have got there.

Before handing it back the girls have some fun with the cup and take selfies... and eventually they return the cup to Terese in the nick of time.

Despite the potential media storm being avoided for Lassiters, Terese is on the warpath and of course immediately blames Roxy for the drama.

But for once the Ramsay Street wild child isn't to blame... and it doesn't take Harlow long to work out who is responsible.

But when Pierce finds out it was his son who almost ruined his career, he lashes out and tells Hendrix that he wishes he had never come to Erinsborough... leaving the teenager devastated.
