Best TV shows on TV tonight
The Other One, 9.30pm, BBC One
The first series of this sitcom saw unlikely siblings Cathy Walcott (Ellie White) and Cat Walcott (Lauren Socha) meet for the first time after their dad died. They had just got used to each other when the series ended on the cliffhanger of them unwittingly meeting the brother they didn’t know they had. This second series picks up the next morning, with Cat jogging Cathy’s memory about Callum (Christopher Jeffers). With the dynamic of a new sibling, and the return of Rebecca Front and Siobhan Finneran as Cathy and Cat’s mums, this is definitely One to watch.

Here We Go, 8.30pm, BBC One (NI, BBC Two)
The Jessops return for more japes as former archery champ Paul (Jim Howick) sets up an online fitness channel with son Sam. Meanwhile, mum Rachel helps Amy to get a ‘real job’, but her attempts go awry and it’s down to Paul to save some family dignity by presenting sports awards at the local school. After overdoing his recent health regime, however, all credibility might be lost! Amid the antics, Gran (Alison Steadman) is on fine form, while it’s all captured through Sam’s unfiltered filming. Prepare for Friday-night laughs out loud.

The Terror: Infamy, 9pm, BBC Two (not Wales)
Star Trek legend George Takei stars in the second series of this anthology (first shown on AMC), which this time takes place in one of the internment camps set
up during World War Two for Japanese-Americans for fear they might be spies.
The series focuses on Chester Nakayama (Derek Mio), who has embraced his American lifestyle. When a series of bizarre deaths takes place in the camp, Chester sets out to understand why they are happening and learn how to combat the malevolent entity responsible. Be warned: it’s seriously spooky!

Cruising with Susan Calman, 8pm, Channel 5
Anchors away for the final trip of the series, as Susan set sails to Panama and Costa Rica. She’s up early to watch her huge ship navigate the narrow Panama Canal and is in seventh heaven as it docks and she’s able to fully explore the iconic waterway. In Costa Rica, Susan enjoys a day on Playa Bonita beach, then hops on board a boat to spot some of the country’s wonderful wildlife. We’re big fans of Susan as a travel companion and her enthusiasm for everything is joyful, but the jury’s out on the final song and dance routine!

Bosch: Legacy, Amazon Freevee
Showing on Amazon Freevee (previously IMDbTV), former cop Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver) is back in this gripping spin-off, working as a private investigator, while daughter Maddie has become a rookie cop. Bosch’s first solo case involves dying billionaire Whitney Vance (24’s William Devane), who regrets abandoning his pregnant girlfriend in the 1950s and wants Bosch to find out what happened to her. The first four episodes of 10 are available today, with two new episodes added every Friday.

Best box set to watch on TV tonight
Ozark, season 4 (part 2), Netflix
Laura Linney and Jason Bateman return for the final instalment of the acclaimed drama about Chicago couple, Wendy and Marty Byrde, who were forced to flee to the rural Ozarks with their two children to launder money for a Mexican cartel. The action picks up after the shocking death of fan-favourite Wyatt and his heroin-dealing bride Darlene, who were gunned down by Javi, the volatile nephew of crime boss Omar Navarro. With Wyatt's cousin Ruth (Julia Garner) vowing revenge, who will survive? And will Marty and Wendy ever be able to return to a normal life?
Best film to watch on TV tonight
Speed, 10.45pm, ITV (not NI)
This 1994 film is the one that really made Keanu Reeves’ name, as the LA bomb-squad cop who winds up on an explosives-rigged bus. If the bus travels at less than 50mph, the bomb detonates… Sandra Bullock is one of the passengers who assists him, while Dennis Hopper is the dastardly bomb-maker who seems to have thought of everything. A genuinely smart thriller that zooms along at breakneck speed.
