Our Changing Planet, 7pm, BBC One
In this week’s final episode, three passionate presenters bring us more inspirational stories in a world threatened by the effects of climate change. Liz Bonnin visits the Wildlife Disaster Network in California, which treats the thousands of animals injured in 2021’s wildfires. In Kenya, Ade Adepitan is at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, whose keepers give around-the-clock care to baby elephants orphaned in last year’s drought. Finally, in Brazil, Gordon Buchanan visits a project aiming to change ranchers’ attitude towards jaguars, which prey on their cattle, by showing them that protecting, rather than killing, the big cats will bring benefits for eco-tourism.

Gentleman Jack, season 2, 9pm, BBC One
As old flames go, Mariana Lawton (Lydia Leonard) is one of the persistent sort, with her barrage of torrid letters to ex Anne Lister (Suranne Jones). Now, in some beautifully acted scenes, we see more of the pair’s complex dynamic as Anne visits Lawton Hall to pacify Mariana over her love for Ann Walker. Mariana is not letting her go without a fight, but will Anne succumb to her charms? Back in Halifax, Ann receives an intriguing visitor and the ever-wonderful Marian attempts to build bridges with Ann’s truly awful family.

Grace, season 2, 8pm, ITV
It’s been six long years since DS Grace’s wife went missing, so we’re delighted to see him get a second chance at happiness when he meets mortuary technician Cleo. Zoë Tapper is a breath of fresh air as Grace’s love interest and there’s a real spark when the pair first lock eyes over a corpse that’s washed up on Brighton Beach. The body is identified as socialite Katya Bishop, but all was not as it seemed in her charmed life. Her husband (ex-Doctor Who star Arthur Darvill) is the prime suspect for her murder, in a twisted case that comes with a thrilling finale.

The Great House Giveaway, season 3, 7pm, C4
Back for a third series, this show gives strangers the chance to revamp shabby houses which have potential but need work. The team must sell the renovated house, and any profit is theirs to put down as a deposit on their own new homes. Paramedic Sarah, 52, joins forces with Paige, 25, who can’t get on the property ladder and is living at her mum’s. Sarah and hubby Mark are both experienced DIYers, and Paige uses every free hour to put in the hard graft. Can their tiny budget go far enough to secure a profit? Continues tomorrow.

Muhammad Ali, 10pm (times vary), BBC Two
Tonight sees the final episode of Ken Burns’ series about the extraordinary life of American boxer Muhammad Ali, who was heavyweight champion of the world three times. Including interviews with boxers, sports writers and Ali’s daughters and former wives, it’s a fascinating watch. It’s all on iPlayer, along with the Oscar-winning Storyville documentary When We Were Kings, about Ali’s 1974 fight with George Foreman.

Best box set to watch on TV tonight
Ozark, season 4 (part 2), Netflix
Laura Linney and Jason Bateman return for the final instalment of the acclaimed drama about Chicago couple, Wendy and Marty Byrde, who were forced to flee to the rural Ozarks with their two children to launder money for a Mexican cartel. The action picks up after the shocking death of fan-favourite Wyatt and his heroin-dealing bride Darlene, who were gunned down by Javi, the volatile nephew of crime boss Omar Navarro. With Wyatt's cousin Ruth (Julia Garner) vowing revenge, who will survive? And will Marty and Wendy ever be able to return to a normal life?
Best film to watch on TV tonight
The Dressmaker, 11.10pm, Film4
Kate Winslet (BAFTA-nominated for Mare of Easttown) takes the title role in this Australian comedy-drama, which weaves haute couture into a curious tale of smalltown scandal. She is a woman who returns home seeking answers to a tragedy, 25 years on. Liam Hemsworth plays her school friend-turned-lover, and the out-of-the-blue gear shift between them in the third act gives Kate another chance to display her powerful acting chops.
