Christmas has come early for soap fans because ITV has revealed when we can catch all the drama in Coronation Street. Here's our handy guide...

ITV has announced all the times and dates you'll need to catch up on the drama in your favourite soaps this Christmas... and here is our handy guide of to what to watch, and when!

Christmas Day is going to be bigger and better than ever this year, with ITV treating viewers with not just a one hour special of Emmerdale at 7.15pm, but also a whole hour of Coronation Street straight afterwards at 8.15pm.

Jenny Bradley is disgusted with Johnny

Jenny and Johnny have got an eventful Christmas ahead of them

As always the festive period promises to be action-packed in Weatherfield, with many of the soap's much-loved characters taking centre stage.

There's drama for the Connors as Johnny and Jenny put on a united front in the bar at The Rovers, but behind the scenes it's a very different story. With Johnny's affair with Liz still hanging over them, Jenny numbs the pain by hitting the bottle.

It has already been hinted that Liz could die after being hit by a car... could a drunk Jenny be the one driving?

Tim tells Sally he loves her in front of Gina

Will Gina come between Tim and Sally this Christmas?

Meanwhile, Sally Metcalfe will be spending Christmas behind bars, but instead of helping free her sister, Gina Seddon has designs on her husband. As Tim drowns his sorrows, will Gina be there with a shoulder to cry on?

There's also drama for Sinead Tinker and Daniel Osbourne. With the heartbreaking realisation that this could be pregnant Sinead's last Christmas, Daniel's determined to pull out all of the stops to make this a festive season they'll never forget. But will his efforts be enough?

Daniel and Sinead will be a big part of Christmas in Coronation Street

While Audrey Roberts might think this year is going to be her best Christmas yet, Coronation Street has revealed that she could be heading for heartache as Lewis Archer's plotting takes a sinister turn.

New Year also promises to be full of drama on the cobbles, too...

With the chemistry between the former couple still burning, could Peter Barlow and Carla Connor find there's a reunion on the cards as 2019 begins? It certainly sounds like there's plenty of unfinished business between the pair after they find themselves in a disused snooker hall together.

Here is when you can catch all the action in Coronation Street:
