EastEnders star Danny Dyer looks like Robin Hood as the BBC reveals when his new show starts!
We're loving the Robin Hood look!
EastEnders star Danny Dyer has channelled his inner Robin Hood in this snap below from his upcoming BBC1 show, Danny Dyer’s Right Royal Family.
Although he may look like the famous outlaw, he is in fact dressed up in hunting attire just like his 30 x great grandfather William the Conqueror, the man who famously defeated King Harold at the Battle of Hastings in 1066.
The BBC has revealed Danny Dyer’s Right Royal Family will begin on BBC1 on Wednesday 23rd January at 9pm.
Danny, who plays Mick Carter in EastEnders, of course discovered he had an amazing family tree when he took part in Who Do You Think You Are?.
Now, in his new history show Danny is going to dress, eat and live his way through the experiences of his ancestors.
Talking about the two-part series, Danny said: “I’m still in shock at the fact that I’m related to such important people. I’ve had a ball getting to know them. It was a nutty experience.”

Danny will be seen time-travelling through 800 years of British history and during his Viking experience he’ll eat sheep’s tongue just like his Viking 35 x great-grandfather Rollo.
As well as getting dressed up like Robin Hood, Danny will also be seen sporting armour like the type worn by his famous 19 x great grandfather knight Henry Hotspur Percy when he fought back in the 14th century.
Mick Carter could do with a sport of armour next time he takes on evil Stuart in EastEnders! In the soap next week Mick will be seen making a heart-wrenching confession to Linda...
Danny Dyer’s Right Royal Family will begin on BBC1 on Wednesday 23rd January at 9pm.
