EastEnders fans have barely had time to take in the 'Ello Princess' bombshell that evil Gavin Sullivan (Paul Nicholas) is the biological father of Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean).
But now there are more shocks in store for one of Albert Square’s original characters.
Adoptive parents Den Watts (played by Leslie Grantham) and wife Angie (Anita Dobson) loved Sharon as if she was their own child, but the spirited blonde tracked down her birth mother and had long wondered about her real father.

Sharon confronted Gavin, only to be left heartbroken when she learned why he had sold her to Den: “I was hardly cut out to be a dad,” he said: “I just never did kids.”
In true EastEnders style – this isn’t the end. Gavin may have fled from the police, but there’s more to this story.

Gavin’s sister Margaret (played by former Howards’ Way actress Jan Harvey) will pay Sharon a visit to tell her something important.

First introduced in March as the solicitor who handled Sharon’s adoption, it’s clear she has questions to answer, not least the ones regarding ethics. But will Sharon listen or will she send Margaret on her way?
