EastEnders spoilers: REVEALED! What's wrong with Mick Carter?

EastEnders

In tonight's episode of EastEnders, the pub landlord was rushed to hospital after collapsing again and FINALLY found out what's wrong with him...

Mick Carter (played by Danny Dyer) has become increasingly worried about his health over the past few weeks on EastEnders. But he's been too worried to get himself checked out at the hospital and find out what is actually wrong with him.

But all that changed in tonight's episode of EastEnders, after Mick's former friend Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) found the pub landlord collapsed on the floor in the barrel yard at the Vic and feared he was having a heart attack...

Despite their BIG falling out earlier this year, Stuart puts Mick in the recovery position and then phones for an ambulance.

However, once at the hospital Mick was in for a SHOCK when he found out what is really wrong with him...

He didn't have a heart attack but a full-blown panic attack!

"So what you're saying is, I've had a funny turn?" Mick questioned Dr Lyons (Natasha Alderslade).

Dr Lyons wondered if Mick was under any particular pressure at the moment.

"Well I run a pub and my wife’s cancer might have returned and my little boy lives in his own world and won’t even look me in the eye," revealed Mick sadly. "But other than that, I’m all over it."

When Mick checked out of the hospital, he bumped into Stuart again outside and made it VERY clear all is still not forgiven.

"I’m grateful but we’re not mates," Mick told Stuart. "This is none of your business. You destroyed my life. Everytime I hear a door bang I think I’m back in the nick. Not to mention what you did to my L, to my Tina…"

But it looks like Stuart isn't giving up hope that he and Mick can one day put their differences aside.

"Mick, if you ever need anything… I know you hate me. I can’t change that, but you mean a hell of a lot to me and I can’t change that either.”

However, when Mick returned to the Square and wife Linda (Kellie Bright), who was wondering about his whereabouts, Mick told her:

"Just do what I do with Stuart and pretend he don’t exist."

So it would appear the former friends have a VERY long way to go before Stuart is welcome back in the Vic again.

EastEnders continues Mondays (8:00pm), Tuesdays (7:30pm), Thursdays (7:30pm) and Fridays (8:00pm) on BBC One
