Emmerdale’s Andrew Scarborough confirms someone will get shot, but is it Ross Barton who pulls the trigger?

Ross is hell bent on getting revenge following the acid attack

The cast of Emmerdale were teasing fans today as they made an appearance on This Morning.

Ahead of tonight’s double bill, Andrew Scarborough - who plays Graham Foster - confirmed that one character will end up getting shot - but he didn’t reveal who.

Viewers already know that Ross Barton is in possession of a gun, and is set to hold Joseph Tate at gunpoint - but will Debbie Dingle’s boyfriend be the one who gets injured, or even killed?

Asked to spill the beans about this week’s drama, Andrew said: “Ross Barton manages to catch Graham unaware, knocks him out and holds him hostage and waits for Joe to come back because he thinks Joe has got something to do with an acid attack… and somebody gets shot.”

As hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby gasped and asked who, Andrew simply replied: “I can’t say.”

It’s unsure whether or not Ross will actually pull the trigger, or if Joseph or Graham will manage to get hold of the weapon.

However, it has been confirmed that Ross will be leaving Emmerdale at some point this year.

The 31-year-old actor tweeted last night: “Yes I’ll be leaving the soap soon. Have had the best few years at Emmerdale but it’s time to move on and explore other avenues. If I win that soap award I might stay though.”

Meanwhile, Ryan Hawley hinted today that Robron may finally be getting married.

Asked by Phillip if there was there still going to be a Robron wedding, he replied: “I’ve just read something that’s coming up in the next batch of scripts and that kind of gives an answer to that question.

“I’m not going to say whether it is or isn’t going to happen, but in that next batch of scripts there’s an indicator of whether or not it will happen.”

Emmerdale continues on ITV.
