EastEnders spoilers: Lisa Fowler is suspicious of Mel Owen's motives
Lisa Fowler loses faith in her friend Mel Owen, Pam Coker has some words of wisdom for Ben Mitchell and will Tiffany Butcher and Keegan Baker get wed?
Lisa Fowler is feeling pushed out by her manipulative friend Mel Owen in Friday’s episode of EastEnders (8.30 pm, see our TV Guide for full listings). When she discovers her daughter Louise Mitchell’s pregnancy scan has been tucked in amongst Mel’s late son Hunter Owen’s things, she is furious.
Meanwhile, Mel toasts to Ruby Allen’s future now that she’s bought the E20 from Sharon Mitchell. Confiding that she’s planning a surprise party for mums-to-be Sharon and Louise, Mel says she wants the whole Square there. But what is a vengeful Mel planning? Later, Lisa has a go at Mel, accusing her of buying Louise’s affections following the generous birthday present that she got her. Increasingly on edge, Mel snaps and storms out, causing a scene on the Square.
Jay Mitchell decides he wants to step down from the funeral parlour following his recent upset. Ben Mitchell sees an opportunity at work for Callum Highway, suggesting he take Jay’s job. Thinking Callum will be chuffed, he’s surprised by Callum’s reaction. Ben has a heart-to-heart with funeral parlour owner Pam Coker, who encourages him to be happy with Callum. Ben is touched by Pam’s kind words and he makes a big gesture, hoping to prove that he wants to be with him. What will Callum say?
