When usually no-nonsense surgeon Jac Naylor gets some shock news from Jonny's new wife Stacey, she fears she's losing her grip…

It's Halloween at Holby and Jac Naylor gets an almighty shock when Jonny's new wife Stacey reveals he’s been offered a new job – in Edinburgh! Convinced Jonny will try and talk their young daughter Emma into going with them, the usually formidable Jac (Rosie Marcel) fears she’s losing control and suffers a panic attack!

When fellow medic Kian's old flame Bea returns to Holby with heart complications and he ignores Jac’s advice regarding her treatment, Jac tries to reclaim her position as Darwin’s top dog by demanding he resign as clinical lead! Later, Stacey drops another bombshell on Jac – Jonny wants custody of Emma! Is fragile Jac ready to fight?

Is little Emma (Darcey Burke) about to be caught in a tug-of-war between Jac and Jonny?

Meanwhile, Lofty and Dom get a surprise when Lofty's pregnant holiday fling Helen turns up early for the ante-natal class she’s due to attend with Lofty later. Lofty doesn’t seem nearly as interested in the impending birth as he should be, so Helen suggests Dom give him a ‘bit of help’.

Dom, however, takes Helen’s comments far too literally, gets psyched up about parenting and invites himself along to the ante-natal class! Will three prove to be a crowd?

Also, having collected mum Bernie’s ashes, Cameron is feeling vulnerable, a situation made worse as he struggles mentally with guilt over Evan’s ‘final moments’.

Later, after a traumatic shift, Cameron scatters Bernie’s ashes in the Peace Garden.

Holby City continues Tuesdays at 8pm on BBC1.
