Hollyoaks spoilers: Is the game finally up for Maxine Minniver?
Maxine Minniver is terrified doctor Levi Rochester is about to expose her for being a fake! Is she right?
Maxine Minniver (Nicki Sanderson) has been faking symptoms of a serious illness for months and is suffering in Hollyoaks with Munchausen Syndrome, a mental health condition in which people pretend to be ill or induce symptoms of illness.
So far her mystery condition has had the medics completely baffled but top doctor, Levi Rochester (Cerith Flinn) is determined to get to the bottom of Maxine’s ‘ailments’ and has been running a series of thorough health tests.
He arranges a special meeting with Maxine and asks if he can review her case again.
Having gone over all the evidence and information with a fine tooth comb for yet another time, Dr Levi then breaks the news that he believes Maxine is faking her symptoms!
How will her friends and family react to the news? And will this mean Maxine’s wedding day to a shocked Damon is most definitely off?
Elsewhere, Liam Donovan (Jude Monk McGowan) continues to rile his partner in crime, Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) by parading Cindy Cunningham around in front of her in The Dog to make her jealous. Will Mercedes bite?
Plus Harry’s ex, Sadie Cressington (Alexa Lee) is back in Hollyoaks and is demanding more cash from Liam in order to protect him and keep quiet about the night of the car crash which put Grace Black in hospital.
Just as Sadie returns, Harry is treating his boyfriend, James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) to a romantic meal in The Dog. As James and Harry reminisce on old times, they seem loved-up but is someone about to throw another spanner in the works?
Hollyoaks is shown weekdays on C4 at 6.30pm with the next episode following on E4
