Hollyoaks spoilers: Mercedes McQueen makes a terrifying discovery about Liam
Mercedes McQueen is reeling when she discovers Liam Donovan is armed with a gun
Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) continues to be wound up about her family and feels as if no-one has a good word to say about her. She confides in Liam Donovan (Jude Monk-McGowan) who opens up and shows her his more vulnerable side by telling her how much he misses his late dad, Glenn.
Liam decides to take Mercedes to the fairground to cheer her up and the pair of them end up getting raunchy in Liam’s car. However Mercedes is in for a shock when she discovers a gun hidden in one of the compartments!
Meanwhile Goldie McQueen (Chelsee Healey) realises that Joel didn’t return the stolen money and Sylver (David Tag) discovers that Max and Bobby are not in school and is worried to realise that both boys are scared of Liam.
Sylver goes off to retrieve Bobby’s homework from Liam’s house but when he spots a gun lurking in Liam’s bag, he’s raging.
Sylver kicks off with Liam and a fight between the two men quickly escalates in which the gun goes off! Has anyone been injured?
Elsewhere it’s Laurie Shelby and Sinead’s one year wedding anniversary and Laurie (Kyle Pryor) surprises his wife by preparing a special breakfast and bringing her documents to officially change Hannah’s surname to Shelby. However Sinead (Stephanie Davies) is mortified that she’s completely forgotten their anniversary date.
She later enlists Tony Hutchinson's help to rustle up a lavish dinner for her and Laurie to celebrate however, when Laurie comes home, he overhears Sinead telling Tony that Laurie can never know about ‘it’…referring to the passionate affair they had!
Will Laurie’s suspicions go into overdrive?
