Cherry, meanwhile, has some surprises in store when she visits a Kenyan tea plantation, and historian Ruth Goodman hops into a tank to find out how soldiers refused to let World War Two get in the way of their daily brew.

She also discovers the icky methods unscrupulous Victorian tea manufacturers used to stretch out their goods!
