Leanne arranges to meet a client at a posh hotel ,but she’s mortified when the manager clocks what she’s up to and chucks her out for soliciting. A humiliated Leanne heads down the Rovers to drown her sorrows and discovers an equally miserable Liam, who is worried about the cover up at the factory. The pair decide to cheer themselves up with dinner at the local Italian and afterwards Liam seizes the moment and moves in for a kiss. paul is relieved when the Health and Safety officer tells him that he’s satisfied that Kasia’s death was an accident. But the day staff are still suspicious that Paul is up to something and they quiz him about his story that Kasia had come in early to do some overtime alone. Bill has food for thought when Kevin tells him that he thinks that Audrey is looking for commitment. Bill shocks Audrey with a surprise proposal and Audrey is touched, but she tells him she’s not ready for marriage just yet. Also, Deirdre worries about being left alone with Ken and their disintegrating relationship when Peter and Adam move to Portsmouth.
