Meanwhile, Ebony is jealous when she notices the friendly affection between ex-lovers Pierce and Chloe and deliberately requests Chloe as her assistant at Lassiters for the day. She takes advantage of the situation and has Chloe running around at her beck and call.

But when Ebony finds out more about Pierce and Chloe's past relationship, her claws come out and she makes it very clear Pierce is her man now - and she won't be giving him up without a fight!

Elsewhere in Erinsborough, things are super-tense between Terese Willis, her partner Paul Robinson and family relative, Roxy Willis.

Terese has some BIG explaining to do now Paul and Roxy have found out about her past relationship with dodgy dealer, Vance Abernethy.

With Roxy and Vance's relationship now over, and Paul feeling cheated by Terese's dishonesty and the possibility she still has feelings for ex-lover, Vance, could this Ramsay Street couple be heading for splits-ville too?

Neighbours continues weekdays at 1:45pm and 5:30pm on Channel 5

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.
