But the surprises don't end there, when Roxy, who wants an outback theme for the bar, sets-up a mechanical bull outside Lassiters to promote the bar. She jumps on board to give the locals a cheeky striptease, just in time for her aunt Terese Willis and Leo's dad Paul Robinson to witness her bikini top go flying off... straight into the face of Vera Punt!

Meanwhile, Terese reels when she thinks she's seen the face of her former bad boy lover Vance in the crowd...

Neighbours, Kyle Canning, Gary Canning, Amy Williams

Kyle recently returned to Ramsay Street... just as his dad Gary was popping the question to Amy! (Picture: Channel 5)

Elsewhere, Chloe Brennan tries to do some damage control, after blurting out that Kyle Canning is still in love with his ex-girlfriend Amy Williams.

The news is a shocker to Kyle's dad Gary, who is now engaged to Amy. Alarmed by this turn of events, and paranoid that Kyle could somehow come between them, Gary is thrown into a spin and decides to bring forward the date of his and Amy's wedding... to next week!

Neighbours continues weekdays at 1:45pm and 5:30pm on Channel 5

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
