Elly confides in friend Leo about the shock discovery she is pregnant by her one-night stand. But will Leo betray her trust and spill the beans to Mark?

Elly Conway is reeling from the discovery she is pregnant for real. The trouble is, there's no way her husband Mark Brennan can be the baby's father as the couple haven't been physical since he discovered Elly cheated on him.

Which means Elly must be pregnant by the stranger she recently spent a drunken night with...

Elly shares her woes with friend Leo Tanaka. Afraid Mark will reject both her and the baby if the truth comes out, Elly decides to keep her secret.

However, that doesn't sit well with Leo, whose own mum Kim hid the truth that Leo and his twin brother David were the sons of Paul Robinson for over 30 years! With this in mind, will Leo betray Elly's confidence and reveal to Mark the truth about Elly's baby bombshell?

Simon Timblick
Writer

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
