Anita tells Bart she knows that Jasmine wants to be a boy and confesses that she kissed her. Anita and Bart get it on in the school storeroom, but Eva interrupts. Meanwhile, Dom gets a call from the police and learns Ravi's in hospital. Cheryl asks Brendan if he's gay, he keeps his cool but asks her who she's been talking to. Brendan is relieved when Cheryl says the idea he's gay is ridiculous. Meanwhile, Ste has a go at Macca for telling Rae that he's sleeping with Brendan. Brendan demands Ste's phone so he can erase Amy's seemingly incriminating message. Amy tells Lee that the hospital is transferring her to Manchester to be closer to her dad. Lee struggles to hide his hurt when Amy says she needs some space. Later, Leanne gives Lee a letter from 'Amy' ending things but Leanne has written the letter. Also; Mercedes prays at Malachy's bedside and he wakes. Mal says when he came round he was dreaming about their perfect future. But Mercy is daydreaming - it's bad news; Tony worries that the police will find out he's in debt and think he started the fire for the insurance. Patrick McLennan is a London-based journalist and documentary maker who has worked as a writer, sub-editor, digital editor and TV producer in the UK and New Zealand. His CV includes spells as a news producer at the BBC and TVNZ, as well as web editor for Time Inc UK. He has produced TV news and entertainment features on personalities as diverse as Nick Cave, Tom Hardy, Clive James, Jodie Marsh and Kevin Bacon and he co-produced and directed The Ponds, which has screened in UK cinemas, BBC Four and is currently available on Netflix. 

An entertainment writer with a diverse taste in TV and film, he lists Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Chase, The Thick of It and Detectorists among his favourite shows, but steers well clear of most sci-fi.
