When Tracy Barlow came into Rob Donovan's orbit he soon saw something in her, probably a bit of himself! Intrigued by the feisty femme fatale Rob decides he's man enough to take Tracy on. Later, Rob's amused when Tracy hands Steve the divorce papers then heads to the Rovers, dressed to kill. Later, Rob calls at No 1 and asks Tracy out on a date. Audrey's devastated as Lewis explains how he and Gail are in love. A guilty Gail tries to justify their relationship, but Audrey's disgusted. Realising she's wasting her time, Gail resolves to borrow some money against her house and live the dream in Italy with Lewis. It's clear she has fallen hook, line and sinker for his scam. Jenna faces the consequences of the actions when she hears the result of her tribunal. Also, Anna's at the end of her tether with Faye; Tyrone is slightly cheered when his solicitor informs him he can arrange a supervised visit to see Ruby.

Patrick McLennan is a London-based journalist and documentary maker who has worked as a writer, sub-editor, digital editor and TV producer in the UK and New Zealand. His CV includes spells as a news producer at the BBC and TVNZ, as well as web editor for Time Inc UK. He has produced TV news and entertainment features on personalities as diverse as Nick Cave, Tom Hardy, Clive James, Jodie Marsh and Kevin Bacon and he co-produced and directed The Ponds, which has screened in UK cinemas, BBC Four and is currently available on Netflix.
An entertainment writer with a diverse taste in TV and film, he lists Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Chase, The Thick of It and Detectorists among his favourite shows, but steers well clear of most sci-fi.
