We've watched Aaron grow up almost overnight as he's stood by Jackson and forced his lover's father, Jerry, to put aside his prejudices and also be there for the son who needs him. He's there with Hazel and Jerry, standing strong as Jackson waits for the spinal surgery that they hope will get him back on his feet. But the pressure gets to him while Jackson's under the knife. Nathan's desperate, too - to sell Home Farm. Declan's made him an offer but Nathan's determined not to sell to him. The trouble is, no one else is interested. Declan makes Nathan another offer, lower than the first one, which Nathan again rejects. But this is a game to Declan, who tells Nathan he'll lower his offer every time Nathan says 'no'. Nathan's irritated, too, at first, but then something happens to make him the smug Nathan we all know and hate. Surely he hasn't found someone else who's interested in buying the business? Now Jackson's hit again, this time by terrible news. Tests carried out after surgery on his spine show that Jackson will probably always be paralysed from his shoulders down. Hazel's devastated but tries to pull herself together so she can tell Jackson, but Aaron steps up and says he'll do it. All his love, though, doesn't keep Jackson's world from crashing down around him, his hopes and dreams in pieces. Nathan's spirits are raised because he's found a buyer for Home Farm and the smug Wylde child swaggers into The Woolpack ready to celebrate. He can't resist having a dig at Ryan, too, who storms out and quenches his thirst for retaliation by smashing Nathan's car window. But he owes Nathan much more than that. Rhona thinks she owes it to Marlon and Paddy to move away from Emmerdale so they can all get on with their lives. Having a drink with Ryan and Andy, she tells them she's leaving. But when Marlon and Paddy come into the pub she can't say anything and walks out... Click here to watch whatsontv.co.uk's weekly soaps video preview, the Soap Scoop
