It’s decision time for Casualty doctor Lily Chao, who must choose between Holby or Hong Kong…

It’s decision time for Lily Chao. She’s up for a prestigious research post in Hong Kong - a career game changer for the ambitious young doctor. Yet she hasn’t told on-off boyfriend, paramedic Iain Dean, as he’s been giving her the cold shoulder!

Just before Lily (Crystal Yu) attends an important deciding interview, Iain finally lets her know what she means to him – however, his timing is terrible and she freezes during the meeting. Even so, Lily’s still offered the job abroad!

Has Iain (Michael Stevenson) done enough to convince her to stay? Or has his recent behaviour with his ex, Sam (Charlotte Salt) driven Lily to choose her profession over passion?

Elsewhere, new junior doctor Rashid Masum (Neet Mohan) joins the ED family. He attempts to exude an air of over-confidence but this is undermined when his mother almost runs over clinical lead, Connie! (Yes, his mother dropped him to work. It’s unconfirmed whether she also made his lunch). This faux pas is followed by series of blunders, each making Rash known to everyone for all the wrong reasons!

Also this week… Keep an eye on Iain, who desperately pulls out all the stops to keep Lily in Holby – this may involve some romantic serenading! Single mum Robyn tries to decide on godparents for baby Charlotte and Max is determined to make her short list. While Elle’s relationship with Marty goes from strength to strength…
