Brendan tells Ste to bring some papers round to the house. But he has set up a trap and Ste walks in on the pair in a compromising position. Pete convinces Ruby that Mr Grimshaw was only trying to comfort her and insists she continue being tutored by him. However, Ruby's acid tongue pushes Mr Grimshaw to new limits. He hits the roof and when Ruby blocks his way he pushes past her sending her flying into a desk. Pete sees everything and demands to know what's going on... Meanwhile, Lee continues the romantic act but a wasp sting lands him and his romantic plans in hospital! Mandy tries to teach Cindy a lesson about business while Brendan continues to charm Noah. Sure Brendan is up to something and keen to stay away, Noah calls off their training sessions. He has produced TV news and entertainment features on personalities as diverse as Nick Cave, Tom Hardy, Clive James, Jodie Marsh and Kevin Bacon and he co-produced and directed The Ponds, which has screened in UK cinemas, BBC Four and is currently available on Netflix.
An entertainment writer with a diverse taste in TV and film, he lists Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Chase, The Thick of It and Detectorists among his favourite shows, but steers well clear of most sci-fi.
