Montana Manning has revealed that she has left Hollyoaks after a five-month stint. The actress, who played drama student Jodie Wilde in the Channel 4 soap, announced the news on Twitter. "Yes Jodie has gone. Seriously Thank you to everyone for all the #TEXIE love... it was so much fun and loads of love to @hollyoaks!!! :) xx" she wrote, referring to her character's love triangle storyline with Texas Longford and Dodger Savage. Montana, a former member of girl group Cookie and previously toured with Girls Aloud, joined Hollyoaks last December. She joins Ashley Margolis, who has also revealed that he will leave Hollyoaks as Ricky Campbell after three years. The 18-year-old actor wrote on his Twitter page: "So I can finally say... My final eps have been written. I will be leaving the show next month. "It's been a fab 3 years but time to move on! Thanks to all of you lot for your kind messages about my curly twin.. Keep watching anyway!! It was a tough decision to leave but I want to do other things!! I've had the best 3 years of annoying my castmates! They will miss me," he quipped. Ashley joined the soap in June 2009, and his last scenes will screen in June.
