Gemma and Chesney never quite get their act together!

Chesney Brown will tell Emma Brooker that she’s the girl that he wants, not Gemma Winter, in a shock Coronation Street confession coming up soon on the ITV soap.

The young Romeo has been using Emma as a way of making Gemma jealous, but now he has developed real feelings for her and looks set at last to move on from Gemma.

Coronation Street spoilers: Chesney Brown is heartbroken when Gemma kisses Spike

Chesney Brown was heartbroken when Gemma kissed Spike - but is he now in love with Emma?

But, in spoilers revealed on the official Coronation Street website, it’s not revealed how Emma will react.

Meanwhile, there is a break in at the pizza shop and Gemma’ new man, Spike, is arrested for the crime.

Gemma, being Gemma, quickly flies off the handle and accuses Chesney of shopping her boyfriend to the police. But was Chesney really behind Spike’s arrest? Will Gemma come to regret screaming at Chesney in the street?

For months, Chesney and Gemma have almost been getting together, without ever getting their act together. Chesney never ever quite gets around to letting Gemma know his true feelings, like when Henry Newton was in her life earlier this year.

Henry Gemma in Coronation Street

Chesney was there for Gemma in Coronation Street when she was messed around by Henry

At the time, Dolly-Rose Campbell, who plays Gemma, told us: “I think the viewers will be shouting at their TVs for Chesney to tell Gemma how he feels and not let Henry muscle back in. But Chesney doesn’t say anything…"

But, perhaps at last Chesney has finally moved on. And Gemma certainly isn’t keen on Chesney after he supposedly shopped her man!

Fans are desperate for the Chesney and Gemma wedding, but it looks a very long way off at the moment…. perhaps they're doomed and better off with other people!

Coronation Street continues on ITV.
