Freddie Flintoff will indulge his love of fish and chips in a new six-part Sky 1 travelogue.

Flintoff: Lord of the Fries will see the former England cricket captain embark on a unique trip around Britain and Ireland in a eco-friendly mobile chippy, which will be fuelled by cooking fat.

Freddie will be joined by extreme cyclist Rob Penn, who previously travelled the Amazon with him, for the trip which will begin on the Lancastrian housing estate where Freddie grew up. The pair will then dish out their tasty takeaways to holidaymakers and locals everywhere from the Giant's Causeway, Whitby and the Essex mudflats to motorway service stations. They will also take part in various activities from salmon fishing in the Scottish Highlands to surfing Somerset's Severn Bore.

"Fish and chips have always been one of my biggest vices, believe it or not, so I'm glad that Sky1 have given me the chance to go on my very own Fish 'n’ Chip adventure. Rob and I had a once in a lifetime experience cycling through the Amazon so I'm hoping this chip shop van journey will be just as much fun, but maybe a little less sore!" says Freddie.

Caren will happily sit down and watch any kind of telly (well, maybe not sci-fi!), but she particularly loves period dramas like Call the Midwife, Downton Abbey and The Crown and she’s also a big fan of juicy crime thrillers from Line of Duty to Poirot.

In her spare time, Caren enjoys going to the cinema and theatre or curling up with a good book.
