BRUSH with DEATH leads to a shock confession in today's Home and Away

There's drama in Home and Away as Dean Thompson fights for his life...

Today's Home and Away will see Colby Thorne make a huge decision after his best friend Dean Thompson almost dies from going cold turkey.

Home and way fans have seen Dean struggling to cope with what happened the day Colby shot Ross Nixon dead back in February... and he's been on a downward spiral ever since, even becoming addicted to sleeping tablets as he struggled to cope with his reoccurring nightmares about Ross.

But this week has seen Dean go cold turkey from the tablets... which ends up almost costing him his life.

Thankfully Jasmine Delaney is on hand to help out in today's Home and Away, using her medical skills to get Dean back from the brink... ultimately saving him from death.

As everyone around Summer Bay realises that Dean hasn't been seen for a while, Willow Harris is forced to concoct a lie that he has got flu and will be out of action for a few days.

Thankfully most people seem to buy the lie and the friends can focus on getting Dean back to full strength... but after Dean told Colby some harsh home truths about Ross's murder recently, the friends have got some tension between them.

While Dean feels bad that he told Colby exactly what he thought, Colby is glad that he did and now realises just how much his friends have been affected by his actions.

By the end of today's episode, it seems Dean's out of the woods, but while he might be okay, Colby definitely isn't.

Confiding in Willow that he has been giving his actions a lot of thought, he drops the bombshell that he's made the decision to go to the police and confess everything about Ross's death.

Willow is horrified at the thought, and tries to persuade Colby to think again, but he's adamant that once he as hold his sister the truth, his next stop is the police station.

Will Colby go though with his confession, or will Willow and Dean manage to stop him before he changes his life forever?
