Best TV shows on TV tonight
Strictly Fitness Challenge, from 9.15 am, BBC One, iPlayer
We all love the Strictly Fitness segment on Morning Live, and, apparently, presenter Gethin Jones loves it so much he’s agreed to extend it for a full 24 hours in aid of Comic Relief! Over the course of the day (and well into the night), Gethin is getting his groove on for charity, with help from the Morning Live gang as well as favourite Strictly faces. It launches in the morning show, but you can follow his progress at any time on iPlayer – and don’t forget to tune in to tomorrow’s live Comic Relief broadcast (7 pm, BBC1) to find out how much he raises. ★★★★★ SP
Nazanin, 9 pm, Channel 4
The fate of innocent mother and wife Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, held prisoner in Iran from 2016 to 2023, made headlines and prompted millions to petition for her release. This powerful film, shown a year after she was eventually freed, follows her story through the eyes of her husband, Richard Ratcliffe, and young daughter, Gabriella. Featuring footage from the moment she was detained at Tehran’s airport accused of plotting to topple Iran’s government, to the calls she made from prison, her letters to Gabriella, Richard’s tireless campaigning, Boris Johnson’s catastrophic error and revelations of the UK Government’s unpaid debt to Iran, it makes for stark and emotional viewing. ★★★★★ TL

On 12 October 2002, two explosions devastated a busy tourist spot in Bali, Indonesia, in an internationally condemned act of terrorism, which killed 202 people and left 209 injured. This four-part miniseries explores the double bombing, focusing on victims, survivors, the rescue operation and the investigation that followed. It’s told with an ensemble cast, among them Claudia Jessie as newlywed Polly Miller and Rachel Griffiths as pioneering burns expert Fiona Wood. Interspersing footage of the aftermath throughout the dramatisation, this is an ambitious retelling of a harrowing atrocity. ★★★★ ER

After a deep dive into all five business plans to root out fictitious figures and crazy concepts, the panel help Lord Sugar to make an informed choice about which candidates should be going through to next week’s final. ★★★ NC
