The villainous Pat Phelan is returning to Weatherfield as actor Connor McIntyre rejoins Coronation Street.
The lecherous builder made himself scarce after swindling the Windass family and blackmailing Anna Windass (Debbie Rush) into sleeping with him.

He left town in April 2014, heading to Dubai where he planned to live off his ill-gotten gains. But now he’s back, will he be terrorising the Windasses again?

A show insider told the Radio Times: “January’s episodes of Corrie will see a penniless Pat returning to his old haunts and getting a job working for Kevin Webster.
“But what will Anna make of Phelan’s reappearance? And what will the repercussions be for Anna’s fledgling romance with Kev?”
The actor first joined Corrie in 2013.
