Hannah is managing to hide her illness from Darren despite looking frail on Christmas Eve but Josh and Rhys are proving harder to convince. Rhys accompanies Josh to visit Hannah, but Darren turns them away. Later, Darren finds Hannah being sick. He throws her out, and she has no choice but to return home. Theresa is anticipating the arrival of her Mum, but Myra is less than enthused as she is busy preparing for Christmas Day. As Theresa goes to Il Gnosh to wait for her Mum's arrival, a cautious Myra asks Tony to keep an eye on her, fearing that Kathleen will let her down. Tony keeps Thresea company in Il Gnosh but as he listens to her telling him what Katheleen has promised to buy her, he knows that she'll be disappointed. He rushes out to buy her a present, but later he has second thoughts. As the hours pass, Theresa has no choice but to return to the McQueen's disappointed. Also, Gilly reassures Steph that he will help her out. *Second Episode, 8.30pm* Neville's working hard to make Christmas Day special but nobody seems interested. During dinner Hannah announces that she intends to quit college and Rhys is unable to hide his frustration. He tells her that they can't go through seeing her ill again. She packs her bag and asks her family to take her to the hospital - to prove that there is nothing wrong... Cindy rifles around under the Christmas tree and reveals a silver charm bracelet. She wants to create the perfect Christmas but things don't go to plan. She serves up the Turkey, but its frozen and she is forced to brush off complaints. Cindy slips on some wine, and pulls the decorations and the food down with her. So they all decide to escape to Frankie and Jack's. Later, Tony wants to sneak out to deliver his gift to Theresa, but Dom persuades him not to. Tony relents and returns home to give Cindy the bracelet. Also, Jake tells everyone he's seen Darren and that he's spending Christmas alone. Nobody seems to care. Frustrated, Jake tells everyone that Darren saved Holly's life, not him. Tom, Steph, Fernando and Jake decide to sing carols outside his window and Darren's moved at this display of affection.
