When a second body is found, it looks like a suicide – the victim left a note, but Banks wonders if it is genuine. The dogged copper would love all the evidence to point to Richards, but in fact it takes him in some unlikely directions.
Meanwhile, his personal life takes another unfortunate twist. Stephen Tompkinson is great as the snarling detective, who only smiles when he gets his man.
